U.F.A.R. Independent Living Facility is home for aging adults, Veterans, and any individual that is experiencing a period of homelessness. Our program promotes stability to thrive and those who need more than just a place to stay; they need a place to belong.
Uplift Faith&Restoration Independent Living Facility (U.F.A.R. ILF) started as a vision 15+ years ago while I was working as a social worker in New York City. During the course of my career, I've worked with numerous populations i.e. homeless, incarcerated, behavioral-health, and veterans. Throughout the years, I grew the desire to do more to help these demographics find a safe housing solution that provides stability, dignity, and a strong sense of independence. Although it has taken several years, our vision is now coming to fruition. As it is said, "Delayed is never denied!"
